Then, get
to know a Ya Ya! If you don't know any of our current members, please
check out our calendar on the website and come by one of our events - or
by our float at a parade - and introduce yourself! We are always ready to
meet new friends.

The Krewe du Ya Yas is
compromised of 125 women dedicated to supporting breast cancer research
and awareness and to having fun at Mardi Gras, Fiesta and other community
events. Membership is limited to 125 women. Members must be over the age
of 25. Each summer, new member applications are accepted. New members must
be nominated by a current member in good standing. Each current member may
only nominate one new member. Two additional current members must also
sign in support of the prospective new member.
New member applications are determined on the basis of how many membership
slots we have available and the proposed new member's actual application.
We are looking for members who will be active participants in our
activities, take leadership roles in our organization and enjoy the
festivities! The determination of membership is made by a membership
selection committee in accordance with our bylaws.
